Happy Birthday, Takaki.

Three years ago, I thought you’re this big-headed jerk that acts “cool” all the time. It’s like you always try to be like Akanishi. You don’t have any originality. I hated your permed hair, awkward movement of lips, and your weird way of singing and dancing. I hated you because you were always around Chinen during the Hey! Say! making. I hated TakaChii. Three years ago, I hated you.

But I never knew that there’s a totally different person behind this Gokusen figure. I remember from an interview(?) which I forgot where it’s from that though you were 17, you act like 14. Does it mean that now you’re 21, you act like 18? X3 I now believe that the reason why you act like Jin is that you’re the son of AKame. Please stay the same. By the way, keep moving and touching your lips like that. It’s hot. XD And I realized that Chinen is really meant for Daiki, so it’s okay if you play with him. But do you really want the reason why after three years, my hatred turned to love?

Deep down inside that cool, proud, confident and awesome person that you are, there is a little boy that hangs on to his mama. I know guys have these man-pride that’s why Hey! Say! JUMP teases you of your relationship with your mom. Please, don’t be embarrassed about that. It’s sweet and cute, actually. So what if you still call your mom mama? So what if she makes you onigiri every morning before you go to work? It doesn’t degrade you as a person, or as a man. It just shows that to your mom, even though you’re now a soon-to-be-sex-god an idol and officially a man, you’re still her baby boy.

So, stay the same and happy birthday, Takaki Yuya. ♥
